Genre: Real-life Drama, Romance & Comedy. Main Themes: Coming Of Age & Courage. Age Recommendation: Teen (around 14+). *Note - There is some course language* Synopsis Set in Australia, Maisie Martin is a sixteen-year-old girl who is spending the Summer hanging out with friends and family. Sounds great right? Wrong! Maisie's dad is away for the holidays and Christmas, embarrassment is everywhere for Maisie, her crush is spending the Summer with Maisie and her best friend is acting strange. There is also a beauty pageant that is being held, Maisie Martin never thought she would enter it, but sometimes, you have to let go of your fears and believe in yourself.
