'The Travel Adventures of George and Paolo Ireland Special Edition' Book Review

Hey everyone! Welcome to another book review by 'Book Reviews By Sophie McC.'
In this blog post, the book I will be reviewing is, 'The Travel Adventures of George and Paolo Ireland Special Edition' by Valerie Van Ballaer.

*I was kindly given this book as an eBook in exchange for my honest review*

General Information & Brief Description
  • This book has 64 pages that explore parts of Ireland including some general information about each place, a mini checklist, illustrations and includes information on certain things that make Ireland famous such as Irish Sports.

  • With the special edition part of the book, it comes with special bonus sections that include: Fun Facts, colouring-in pages and travel photographs taken by the author herself.

  • The book would be great if you are going on a family holiday to Ireland as there are certain pages with checklists that are the top recommended things to do and see and spots to write where you have been in Ireland. Also, if your child gets bored, there are many fun colouring-in pages for them to complete!

  • The book's target audience is aimed for younger children. My age recommendation is 7+ (best age for children to understand). An adult reading it to a child would also be a good option. However, if you wanted some information about Ireland, I would really recommend reading this book!

My Review
I really enjoyed reading this book! It had so many fun facts that I didn't even know which made the book a lot more interesting and fun to read. A fact about me is that my family origins date back to being Irish so when I was given the opportunity to read this I will super excited! And yes, it was an excellent read that makes me much more knowledgeable about the geography on Ireland, incredible landmarks, sports, music and dance.

'This book is such a fun and enjoyable read perfect for going on a family holiday with children. As well as keeping children entertained, this book will also teach the reader so many fun facts about Ireland and famous places that you should definitely visit if planning to travel to Ireland or just for fun!'

Overall Rating
My  overall rating for 'The Travel Adventures of George and Paolo Ireland Special Edition' is.....
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This book is super fun and I highly recommend it! The Special Bonus Sections that come with this book make it so much more delightful and entertaining!

One extra thing that I wish the book also included is a "Wish List" section where you can write down the places in Ireland that you wish to go to on your holiday or in the future.

Thank all you so much reading my book review!
