My Review
'Beyond A Mysterious Journey' was an interesting read. There was a bit of foreshadowing which is always great in a book. Something that I really liked was that as I was reading, there would parts of the book that left me hanging and wanting to know what happens next. It got me thinking a little! There were however, some typos and grammar mistakes that made the book slightly annoying at times. Also, there was a time in the book when Neelkand was hearing the story of  "The Fortress Flashback" that completely changed scene and time in an instant. I felt really confused as it wasn't till quite late on in the chapter that I realised that the story was being told and it wasn't just part of the current time and place in the book. In some parts of the book I felt it was quite rushed and a fair bit of dialogue. There was also a bit of repetitive language used quite quickly.

Overall, the book was pretty good. There were a few parts that left me confused but it seemed like an original idea and that made it enjoyable. The story line was entertaining!

My Overall Rating
I rate 'Beyond A Mysterious Journey'  ⭐⭐⭐ stars.

'Beyond A Mysterious Journey' is definitely a mysterious book that will leave readers wanting to know what happens next. There are some typos and the book is a little rushed but overall, I found the book interesting and entertaining to read.'

I'm looking forward to Madhuparna's books in the future.
